Jimmy Fairly eyewear shop fit-out, Regent Street
Lighting and power for Jimmy Fairly's eyewear shop on Regent Street, London: track spotlights, recessed downlights and lit display shelving, finished ready for opening day.
The brief.
Jimmy Fairly, the French eyewear brand, needed the lighting and power in place for its shop at 63 Regent Street, one of London's busiest shopping streets. In a shop like this, lighting does a lot of the selling: every frame on every shelf has to be seen clearly, with true colours and no glare, and the shop window has to draw people in from the street.
What we did.
- Track lighting runs across the ceiling, with adjustable spotlights aimed at each display wall
- Recessed LED downlights for even general lighting across the shop floor
- Lighting built into the display shelving, so the frames stand out from within
- Emergency lighting and illuminated exit signs over the escape routes
- Power for the window displays, counter and display units
- Testing and certification at handover, ready for the shop to open
The result.
A bright, welcoming shop where every display is properly lit, the window works hard from the street, and the whole installation is tested and certified.
