Landlord or selling up?

Landlords in England need an electrical safety check (EICR) at least every five years. Buyers and sellers often want one too. We test, report and carry out any remedial work.

Questions about home electrics.

How long does a rewire take?

It depends on the size of the home and how much needs replacing. We will give you a clear timescale at the survey, before any work starts.

Do I need a new consumer unit?

Older fuse boxes often lack the RCD protection modern regulations expect. We can inspect yours and tell you honestly whether it needs replacing.

Can you fit an EV charger at my house?

In most homes, yes. We check your supply, the route to your parking space and the best spot for the charger at the survey.

Will I get a certificate?

Yes. You get an electrical certificate for the work, and as an NICEIC Approved Contractor we notify building control for you where the work needs it.

I am a landlord. Can you do my EICR?

Yes. See our testing page for what landlords need and how often.
