Questions about testing.
How often does a rented home need an EICR?
In England, private landlords must have the electrics inspected and tested at least every five years, give tenants a copy of the report within 28 days, and give it to new tenants before they move in.
What do the codes on an EICR mean?
C1 means danger present and needs immediate action. C2 means potentially dangerous and needs urgent work. C3 means improvement recommended. FI means further investigation is needed.
What happens if my installation fails?
We explain every observation in plain English, quote for the remedial work, and confirm in writing once it is done.
How often should a business be inspected?
It depends on the type of premises and how it is used. We will recommend the right interval for your building on the report.
