Warehouse and industrial unit electrics.
From an empty shell to a fully certified building. Incoming supplies, distribution, high bay lighting, power for cooling and standby generation, planned and installed by one team.
Built for how the space will be used.
Every warehouse and industrial unit is different once it is in use. Racking, forklifts, cold rooms, machinery and loading doors all change where power and lighting need to go, and how much of it the building needs. We start with how you will use the space and design the installation around it.
We regularly take on units as empty shells, with nothing more than an incoming supply, and hand them back ready to trade. That includes the switchgear and distribution, every final circuit, lighting, emergency lighting and full certification, with standby power where the stock or process cannot afford a power cut.
When to talk to us
- You have taken on an empty unit and need it fitting out
- Stock or processes that must stay temperature controlled
- New racking, machinery or cold rooms that need power
- Old fluorescent or sodium lighting that costs too much to run
- A tenancy that needs a full EICR before you move in or out
- No backup if the mains supply fails
What's included.
Supplies and switchgear
Incoming supply, main switchgear and sub-main cables sized for the full load, with room to grow.
Distribution and containment
Distribution boards, cable tray, basket and trunking run neatly at height and fully labelled.
High bay LED lighting
LED high bay and panel lighting with presence or daylight controls to cut running costs.
Power for cooling and machinery
Dedicated three-phase and single-phase supplies for air conditioning, cold rooms, machinery and charging.
Standby generators
Generator connections with changeover, so cooling and critical systems keep running in a power cut.
Testing and certification
Emergency lighting, full testing and certification to BS 7671, with handover documents for your records.

How a fit-out runs.
We survey the unit, agree the layout with you and put a clear written quote together, including the incoming supply capacity and any network operator applications. We then work to your programme, often alongside other trades and the landlord's team, with access equipment and safe isolation planned in from the start.
Before handover every circuit is tested and certified, emergency lighting is checked and documented, and standby systems are tested on load. You receive the certificates, schedules and drawings you need for insurance, compliance and future work.
Accredited and approved.

Questions about warehouses and industrial.
Can you fit out a completely empty unit?
Yes. We regularly start with an empty shell and install everything from the main switchgear to the last socket, then test and certify the whole installation.
Can you supply power for cold rooms and air conditioning?
Yes. We install dedicated supplies and isolation for cooling plant, cold rooms and air conditioning units, sized for their running and starting loads.
Do you install standby generators?
We connect standby generators with changeover switching so critical loads keep running if the mains fails. See our generator connections page for more detail.
Can you work around a live warehouse?
Yes. We plan shutdowns and work out of hours where needed so you can keep trading.
Do you upgrade old warehouse lighting to LED?
Yes. LED high bay lighting with presence detection usually cuts lighting costs considerably and improves light levels at the same time.
