Pharmaceutical warehouse fit-out
A full electrical fit-out of an empty warehouse for a pharmaceutical client, with power for temperature-controlled storage and standby generation.
The brief.
The client, a pharmaceutical company, had taken on an empty warehouse to store medicines in a temperature-controlled environment. The building needed a complete electrical installation from scratch, with power for a large bank of air conditioning units and a backup generator so the stored stock stays at the right temperature if the mains supply fails.
What we did.
- Full electrical fit-out of an empty warehouse shell
- Distribution boards and sub-mains sized for the air conditioning load
- Dedicated supplies and isolation for every air conditioning unit
- Standby generator connection with changeover, so cooling keeps running in a power cut
- Power to the temperature-controlled cold rooms and their cooling units
- LED high bay lighting in the warehouse and LED panels in the offices
- Lighting and small power throughout, including the office areas
- Testing, certification and handover documentation
The result.
A fully certified warehouse ready to hold temperature-sensitive stock, with the cooling and standby power in place to protect it around the clock.
