Not enough sockets, extension leads behind the TV and a single pendant light in the middle of the room are the most common things people want fixed. We add sockets and switches, move them, and upgrade lighting so rooms work the way you use them.
Outside, we install garden and security lighting, outdoor sockets, and the armoured supply a garden room or workshop needs. Everything outdoors is protected and rated for the weather.

Some locations have extra rules. In bathrooms, fittings must be suitable for the zone they sit in. Outside, every circuit needs the right protection and weatherproof fittings. New circuits and work in special locations are notifiable, and we handle that for you.
For small jobs we can usually give you a price over the phone or from a few photos. For bigger lighting schemes we visit, talk through the layout with you and put the quote in writing.

Can you add a socket without rewiring?
Usually, yes. Most extra sockets can be taken from an existing circuit, provided it is in good condition and not overloaded. We test it first.
Can I have downlights in my bathroom?
Yes, with fittings rated for the bathroom zone they sit in. We will make sure everything is suitable and safe.
How do you power a garden room?
Normally with an armoured cable buried or clipped along a safe route from the house, feeding a small consumer unit in the garden room.
Do you do small jobs?
Yes. We are happy to fit a few sockets or a new light, and can often combine small jobs into one visit.
Are mains smoke alarms better than battery ones?
Mains alarms with a battery backup, interlinked so they all sound together, give much better warning. They are required in many new builds and rentals.
